FDA mandated restrictions, strict safety standards, extreme environments, and high security were just some of the aspects of this project. Adding two new freezer penthouses 70 feet above grade on a restricted site added to the challenge. The interior temperature of the freezer was maintained at -35 degrees F. Relying on the industrial background and experience of Cubic, Inc., the project was completed on time and on budget. Cubic, Inc. worked as a subcontractor to Republic Refrigeration.
